मुना मदन - Muna Madan (Love Poem) is an app. It is an educational app. Muna Madan is a type of Nepali episodic love poem that has been published in 1936 by the poet Mahakabi Laxmi Prasad Devkota.
This app contains many topics which are described here. It is a very famous poem which is also taught in the schools and colleges. It is in the form of is a short epic narrative which is also called a Khandakavya. It is a very popular book in Nepali Literature.
The poet, Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota gave local folk rhymes to Muna Madan’s flavour. It was first published in1996 B.S. and in 1939 A.D. At present, It is so popular even if it is old. It has appeared to be new always.
It is a story of a Nepali man who goes to foreign in search of job leaving his home, his old mother and his beloved wife. He falls very sick on the half way when he was back to home. His friends left him alone in the middle of the forest. When they reached home, they spread a rumors about Madan's death on the way back home. When his wife, Muna heard the news of Madan's death, she died in despair. But, a man in the jungle saved Madan’s life. This is the story.
